COMECAP 2025
Dear Colleagues,
It is with great pleasure and honor that we inform you of the organization of the International Conference on Meteorology, Climatology and Atmospheric Physics (COMECAP2025), which will be held in Nicosia, Cyprus, from 29 September to 1 October 2025, in a hybrid format (in person and online).
Since its establishment in 1992, COMECAP has been a cornerstone for scientific dialogue and innovation in the field of geosciences. This year’s conference, organized by the Hellenic Meteorological Society (HMS) and hosted by the “Eratosthenes” Center of Excellence in Limassol, aspires to continue this tradition, bringing together researchers, experts and leading figures in the field from all over the world.
COMECAP2025 offers a unique opportunity to present cutting-edge research, exchange ideas and explore innovative solutions across a wide range of critical and emerging topics, such as:
- Meteorology, Climatology and Atmospheric Physics
- Climate Change and its Socio-Economic Impacts
- Air Quality, Pollution and Environmental Sustainability
- Extreme Weather Events and Disaster Risk Reduction
- Renewable Energy Sources, Environmental Technologies and Mitigation Strategies

In addition to the above topics, the conference will place particular emphasis on the urgent challenges posed by climate change, such as its impact on food security, energy systems and public health, as well as its role in amplifying extreme weather events. Together we will explore pathways to resilience and sustainability in the face of these critical challenges.
